We hired the function room for a baby shower. It’s a beautiful room and accommodated roughly 30 people easily. The Minerva catered the buffet for us. From start to finish everything went smoothly. The staff were so friendly and professional; the food outstanding. We had guests from out of town staying overnight in the Premier Inn so the location of The Minerva was ideal. Would not hesitate to come here again.
Stayed two days in Hull and came here for dinner the first night - our food was so good we had to come back a second night! Big fish and chips, great pies. Beautiful old pub.
Definitely will come here again when we visit The Deep just over the bridge, and if we ever make other visits to Hull for any other reason.nNice portion sizes of really nice pub grub, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend the steak pie and the lasagne.nManaged to book in at very short notice and we had a nice sized table for our needs.
Out on a walk and stopped off for lunch, we hadn't booked but we were quickly seated at a table, really friendly staff. The food was spot on we ordered goats cheese salad and fish and chips both were excellent, the atmosphere was chilled and relaxing. We really enjoyed the Minerva and would definitely recommend it to anyone.
Absolutely delighted to spend an evening dining here at the Minerva, it's been many many years since my last visit. There were 2 large tables in our group and we had booked and ordered ahead. Food arrived in a timely manner and everything looked delicious. I enjoyed the chilli con carne with chips, rice and a sprinkle of tortilla chips. It was tasty and very clearly home made, lots of fresh ingredients gave a deep flavoursome taste to the dish. The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant, as were the staff.
