My son goes here alot, for dine in & take away, it has recently won an award for best Indian restaurant in Greater Manchester. The food was nice enough, I can't say outstanding, but I enjoyed what I had. We just had poppadoms to start, I had a lamb bhuna with a garlic naan, my husband & son had the manchurian curry, it is a hot curry, however my son said it was exceptionally hot that night!! There wasn't much interaction from the staff. Theres a good choice on the menu. I would go again, but not in a rush.

One of the best curry houses in the North West. Take your time to explore the varied and interesting menu - there’s so much more than the standard korma/madras/etc…. We go here every time I visit my sister and it never fails to excel. We even did Xmas day lunch last year! Service, beer and food are excellent and good value for money. Shame I don’t live nearer….
I really enjoyed the food here... Really good portions and great choice. My only criticism and this is not just the Milnrow Balti who do it but why do you have to sit everyone next to each other when you have free tables. I'm out for a quiet meal and I can hear everything being said by the person on the next table. I get that you want to look busy to everyone passing and sit everyone in the window seats first but you need to space people out more when you have free tables. Other than that the food was amazing and I will definitely return
Food was average. We felt rushed from sitting down to getting the bill which we didn't even ask for. We were in and out within 55 minutes. That included poppadoms, starters, mains and drinks. Too many staff hanging around tables. Was a first time visit for us. Not sure we'll return. Disappointing. On the plus side, staff were friendly enough and there were ample menu choice.
Rude manager ! We requested a booking on the online not live system. Granted we didn’t receive a confirmation but we traveled anyway not expecting it to be full at 6 o clock. On arrival we walked into a very quite restaurant, to be greeted by a RUDE man who appeared pleased to say “if it’s not confirmed we’re full” And looked away! No apology no compromise no general manners. We will not be returning !
Fantastic service, excellent food really helpful in catering for a vegan diet plus a lovely atmosphere. Really appreciated the effort made by the staff when brining over the birthday cake, best ever rendition of 'Happy Birthday' by all the staff. Thank you
Came here tonight with my Auntie by recommendation.. Staff too eager to get order there was 4 other people in so not like packed out and busy!!! Hovering over us wanting an order before I had to politely but abruptly told them give us time we're here to relax and enjoy.. Was told they don't sell Sauvignon Blanc by the glass only Pinot ordered 2 glasses to then be told at end of night don't sell Pinot Grigio by the glass only Sauvignon Blanc unbelievably rude and arrogant service even practically throwing bill at table saying to me I don't understand.. I really do understand tho that's just it!!!! Food was luke warm, mediocre wouldn't be coming again and how it's won an Award is beyond me must be for Takeaway because unless staff are overloading with persistence then it's really not the place to be relaxed and enjoying good food it was anything but!!!! Excellent food provided from an extensive menu, in a nice environment. Service by very polite staff. Very impressed
Came here while on business and the service was amazing and the food was just as amazing. I ate alone on a Sunday night so not a busy time, but I throughly enjoyed my meal here. My meal was only a basic one course meal. Beef Korma and rice along with keema naan. It was fast and fresh straight from the kitchen, the portions are not huge but Indian food is filling and turned out to be about right, no need to waste food. The prices are not cheap I believe this is a place for quality. I’m happy to pay for quality of food and service, COVID-19 precautions are also well managed as much as they can be in a restaurant. Temperature taken at the door and masks on all staff, I can not imagine a restaurant is an easy place to wear a mask but this was all followed. Next time I’m in the area I will be sure to visit this place again
