Old midland bank, high celiing, big windows , original features, and nice clean and tidy. A grest bar layout with plenty of choice of beers , ales ,ciders and soft drinks. The cobs don't look as impressive here as other pubs in the chain. Sports on the TV 8f that's your thing. There's a small beer garden out the back but it's nothing special. The Midland is in a good central location.
Just a quick drink here on a Saturday night. Drink selection was good and well kept ales. Atmosphere was a little lacking but a nice quiet drinkService: 5/5
We love the Midland, we have been going there for a long time but recently since new manager Andy has taken over it is so nice to see that some love and attention is being given to the pub. The garden is looking better already along with the service itself and the attention that is given. Would highly recommend, it’s worth a visit for a quick pint or 3 and a homemade cob and/ or crisps : xx
Lovely friendly atmosphere, not a big lounge, but nice and cosy. Friendly landlord who serves a wide choice of real ales, certainly not what I expected. Made a refreshing change from drinking bland gassy beers in branded establishments. Will certainly visit again.
Really friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Aircon today which was much appreciated! Thank you for a nice visit on a baking hot day.Food: 4/5
Love the old bank. Still looks like a bank Staff are awesome Outside a bus stop Great locationService: 5/5
Nice selection of beers. Sometimes they have corned beef or cheese & onion rolls. Nice relaxed atmosphere without loud music.Service: 5/5

A great pub. A classic pub. A wide variety of ales on tap and friendly knowledgeable bar staff that can tell about the brews they are serving. Nice little area out the back for some fresh air if needed. Recommended.
A nice, quiet pub with a good selection of well kept ales.Service: 5/5
