Tried the breakfast buffet here for the first time. It was totally fine. Everything was cooked lovely and they had fried bread but some juice options would of been nice.nnBut this place needs to sort out the FLY issue. I counted 10 around our table. Its put me off ever going again.nDidnt dare leave my meal. Literal swarms. The staff just ignore it, id be out with fly spray at least. Fly guest pic
Went for a carvery with my husband and was very impressed by the selection of vegetables. There was Mashed Potato, Roasties and Cajun Roasties. Cauliflower Cheese, Creamy Leeks, Carrot Mash, plus the usual Peas, Carrots, Runner Beans etc. The Meat was nice and hot too. Everything was lovely including the ambience in the pub. Families and people watching the football in the bar but not too rowdy. Great local pub and restaurant!
I went to the carvery today, not been for ages and not a lot has changed, lovely, friendly and welcoming staff, absolutely outstanding food, washed down with a nice cold pint of stella, can't wait to go again.
The Team were all very friendly and efficient. The Manager, Simon was sympathetic and understanding of my medical issues and accommodated my needs without fuss. Jo, who checked we were ok was lovely, and we would highly recommend The Mermaid Stonehouse Pizza and Carvery , especially the carvery.
This is a great stonehouse branch.nPlenty of parking available and very popular with the locals during meal times.nNicely decorated and well designed with plenty of seatings area.nThe staff are welcoming and helpful during our visit.nThe cravery is well prepared and tastes delicious.nWe enjoyed our lunch and would visit again
