Came here today with the husband haven't been for a long time, needed help so asked a server called Joanne, she was most helpful. Place was a little busy but thanks to Joanne we were soon fed and watered, we had the carvery and a drink each. As you can see we both enjoyed it. Will be back another time
Wonderful carvery - great choice of roast meats and vegetables!! Really good value for money; would definitely eat here again!! Monday's Special : BOGOF Pizzas is a real money saver for families!!
Been hear before but they’d run out vegan nut roast. They had it this time but is was very mushy and sickly sweet. So much that I couldn’t finish it. On the food side there were lots of vegetables which are vegan and nice vegan gravy. Would I recommend it - Yes if you like a sweet roast Would I go back - Yes but I’d skip the vegan nut roast and hammer the veg instead.
What a great Christmas day dinner we had here, full roast and all the trimmings!! I was really impressed and think it was super value for money considering what other pubs were trying to charge. Staff were a friendly bunch, even though they were at work of Christmas day they were full of festive cheers and nothing to much trouble for them. It was our first time have Christmas dinner out and will do it again, great atmosphere, felt nice and Christmassy, great job. Thank you
Husband and I visited and both had Carvery had a 50% off voucher so even better.. Food was lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Would go again very reasonable even at full price.
It was quiet when I visited so straight up to the carvery with no waiting. Beef was very tasty, veg were hot. Overall very good for the price.
We Could not get a table for 5 for 3 hours on a Sunday , then another member of out party went and asked five minutes later and got a table there and then , we were in there an hour and a half and there was several tables around us that had never been used the hole time we were there. I think people are booking and not coming . Would be best to finding a table yourself.
Food was edible but that was it. Yorkshire puddings rock hard roasties were poor Turkey and Gammon was fine and rest was ok. Not in rush to go back
1 star is bieng generous because its xmas. Never again will i have or recommend a breakfast here. Beans were watered down awful isnt the word. Fried bread was that fried it shattered. The eggs were fried beyond existence. The sausages were nice and the waffles were served on the hot plate so even with syrup were bone dry. No fresh orange only tea. 18 pounds wasted for 2 people never again. Stick with pulling pints or should i say pressing a button
Beautiful breakfast. Well stocked and replenished often. Rachel was very accommodating, pleasant & helpful.
