Place quite full, we hadn't booked a table it was 16.10 but could get a table had to vacate by 17.30.. Meal was good but mix up on order Ordered :1 Large bolognese parmo, fries & salad 1 Small bolognese parmo fries & salad. Food arrived large plain parmo, chips & salad. Small bolognese parmo, chips & salad. Was asked to change to fries didn't want to wait. Food tasted good though Went again this time ordered Steak pie, mash & vegetables Garlic Chicken, saute potatoes & vegetables Very tasty
Came to see if Merlins Parmo lived up to the hype. Got a Al Funghi Parmo half and we were very satisfied. Great taste, great size, great chips, garlic mayo and salad. Service was quick, staff were friendly, atmosphere was great and parking easy.Food: 5/5
Arrive on the spot, the pub was busy but they found us a table, food took a while to arrive but when did was warm and full of flavour. The four of us had different meals so appreciated they take a while to prep. Can't complain on food size or taste of food. Staff very accommodating, would visit again.

Had a great meal Thursday lunch. Didn't have any beef to have the beef Yorkshire wrap. Didn't fancy the chicken instead... Asked if they could do sausages in the wrap... Yes they can, they did, and we both thoroughly enjoyed the food. Very helpful, friendly and accommodating staff. I was totally bad and had the sticky toffee pudding and custard. Perfect. Will be back soon
Popped in on a Saturday afternoon and was very lucky to get a table as they were very busy... I would definitely book if I went again as like I say they seem to get very busy... Saw loads turned away just after we got sat down because we were near the door... I had a full parmo and my wife had mince and dumplings.. Parmo was superb and nearly as big as the plate.. Definitely one of the best I've had and at £14 well worth the money... Chips were homemade and very nice. Wife's mince and dumplings were good and well worth the money also... We did wait about half an hour for our meals but hey it's obviously all cooked fresh and you should expect to wait I reckon.. Would I visit again.. Definitely 5
Ate here today at lunchtime for the first time after hearing good reviews from work colleagues and the food is lovely. Staff were welcoming and friendly. It was busy so i'm glad i booked. Fantastic menu, very reasonable prices and sizable portions. Took my mum today but will definitely return with the rest of the family.Food: 5/5
Absolutely gorgeous food and wonderful service. Very busy on a Thursday afternoon which reflects how delicious the food is so best to book. Couldn't have had a nicer meal or service. 5* all round Food: 5/5
Food is gorgeous but the service massively lets it down. Been twice now and it's been same both times. First time we booked a party of 12 and put us on two tables. Told us each table has to order and pay at once which got be confusing as we were oaying for the kids who were at other table then food came 20 minutes apart. Second time Booked a table of 6. Paid for 4 meals and my husband behind me paid for 2 meals straight after, same table. Food came 25 minutes apart. We were finished eating when their food came and left while they were still eating. We were told cos the meals were booked with 3 minutes between, that's why the food came late. When I asked "it was for the same table, he was next in the queue, does a 3 minute gap justify a 25 minute wait?". I was stared at blankly by the staff, no apology. Gorgeous food, shame about the till system and service.
