I have seen Rachael Storr on and off for several years. I cannot begin to say how fantastic she is at getting to the root of the problem whether it’s my back or my legs or both. She recommended a great regime of rehab exercises which really help. The treatments have always been effective, and she always goes the extra mile. Rachael is very personable and treats her patients with respect and kindness. I can’t recommend her strongly enough!
I have consulted Rachel Storr about a number of problems over several years. I am always impressed by her professionalism, her knowledge, her communication and her exceptional ability to logically and progressively investigate the source of a problem and to then apply various techniques to relieve and eradicate pain and discomfort. She then provides realistic rehabilitation exercise to avoid recurrence. I am massively disappointed that she is leaving, although I wish her only the very best, and I know that her new clients will enjoy the best physiotherapy.
Rachael Storr treated me for a very nasty trapped nerve in my neck earlier this year. I was unable to use my left arm and was in excruciating pain. I was unable to work, couldn’t sleep or drive and was struggling with the simplest personal care tasks. Rachael was nothing short of amazing and was quickly able to assess me and start appropriate treatment both hands on and exercises to do at home. I was able to significantly reduce my pain meds after two weeks and she had me pain free after 5 sessions. She is a lovely person and it was great being treated by her. I would not hesitate to recommend her to others!
I've seen Rachael at the clinic both here and in Bath for a few years for a lower back problem and she's been brilliant. One of the only people ever to have truly helped me with my lower back problems. She really takes the time to understand your situation and work with you to find a solution that fits you and your lifestyle. Can't recommend highly enough.
I had 12 sessions with Rachel Storr at the end of 2020 for long term upper hamstring and rotator cuff shoulder issues. The sessions really made a difference and I would be pleased to recommend Rachel. The clinic was also very careful to ensure strict controls for COVID protection.
Rachel Storr is outstanding. I am 72 and exercise vigorously both in organised classes and at home. At times, I overextend parts of my body and her ability to untangle me break up scar and inflamed tissue has been a revelation. Really sorry to see her go. Cornwall has gotten a great one. Joanne Jewett is the best chiropractor I've ever had. She puts me right 99% of the time on one visit. I've been going to her for years and would reluctantly use anyone else. The receptionists are always so welcoming and polite giving full empathy when you're in agony. I highly recommend The Medical especially Joanne.
A very friendly, professional practice. I have been a client for a number of years for both Chiropractor and Sports Massage services. I can highly recommend Joanne and Natasha who have helped me with various sporting injuries and general maintenance.
I went here to seek advice on a specific sports injury to my thigh muscle. The whole process was very smooth and the physio Agnes understood the problem and gave great advice - which i am now following. The booking and communiction staff and system were great - your agreed exercise plan is emailed to you with diagrams and video links. And the staff in the centre were great also.
I have been treated by Sports Injury Therapist Rachel Storr, at The Medical Midsomer for approximately two years. Rachel helped me since I had an accident which damaged a tendon Supertenatus in the rotator cuff of my left shoulder. Rachel had diagnosed this before the result of my MRI scan. Over time with physio and with an operation my shoulder is now close to being back to normal, whilst treating me for this Rachel has treated damage to my lower back which I injured sometime ago. The lower back pain had made me feel very down at times, I now feel like a new person as the lower back pain is gone. I cannot thank Rachel enough for her help and would recommend Rachel to anyone who has similar problems, I find her easy to talk to and very understanding.
