Very nice fish and chips. Reasonably priced and served with a smile. Only negative is there's sometimes a bit of a wait but means it's being cooked fresh

OK...yes this is how a classic British fish and chip shop should be....great fresh fish crispy batter and proper British chips...reasonable and fair prices. It's not the prettiest fish and chip shop, but it is clean and well kept with good food. The staff are friendly and helpful..plenty of free parking..It is a relief to find proper British fish and chip shops like this rather than the tatty..sell anything deep fried take aways...If you are in the area I recommend you give it go.

No consistency in portions of chips.. One minute you buy a large and get a large then you buy a small and its no different to a large then visa versa. I've been in poundhill 15 years and it's never changed

Chips are getting worse every time I go there. Last night was the worst meal I've had, I don't be going back and I've been a customer for 20 years. Sad times
