We visited the Masonic arms in August during a camping trip to Brighouse bay. The lady who served us so sorry we didn’t get her name! was so lovely and accommodating and went out of her way to assist us when we arrived for a pint with a raw chicken breast from the butchers next door She kindly refrigerated our chicken for us while we had drinks. Lovely pub with friendly staff and great vibes.
Very nice pub, one of very few in Kirkcudbright. Lovely atmosphere and a nice patio area with tables and chairs in the back. No food served. Only crisps. Lively atmosphere with a pool table.
Friendly pub. No food. A good selection of beers and lagers. We received a lovely welcome when we arrived.
Joined the Thursday night quiz, sat with some friendly locals, enjoyed some amazing Galloway Stout and had a great time. Ended the evening with a Haggis Gin and Turnip tonic! One of over a 100 gins! I can't wait for next visit
Great bar. Lovely smart interior and friendly staff.nFrom the outside, it looks like every other pub but don't be deceived. It's like a TARDIS. When you enter you immediately see that it is much bigger and smarter than expected. A wide range of drinks are all served with a smilenI wish I'd gonr in earlier on my stay. I'll be back!
