Great shop with a full stock of essentials , a great wine selection and nice selection of cakes and pastries

My friend said ‘it was a top notch Co-op’ - need I say any more? I went to Kirkcudbright on a pleasant summer’s ever during the world famous Tattoo event. Initially dissatisfied that the shop did not have a tattoo facility I was later pleased by their supplies of beer - although I wish my colleagues had bought Tennants #ALessonForNextYear

Really enjoyed this co-op, went in on the tattoo for a few wee tinnies to enjoy the festivities with. I was impressed by the vast selection of worldwide alcoholic beverages which I think represents a modern and open Scotland accepting of all worlds cultures. The staff smiled when they asked for my ID and actively improved my mood and ultimately my day. If I'm ever in town again then I know where to purchase my beverages to clean my pallet.

Co-op store just as you would imagine. A good selection of products with some good offers. Good value, friendly and helpful staff. Only real downside it gets very crowded with school children at break time.

They’ve introduced a two-person limit due to shoplifting, so I had to queue for just under 15 minutes to buy what I wanted. This caused me to go to Tesco afterwards, to continue my shopping.
