Visited for the 1st time the Marton Arms for Sunday Lunch with our North Yorkshire Friends. The welcome, service and food was excellent. The Pub has a lovely cosy atmosphere and is furnished very tastefully. 
The Gin Menu and Desserts are also to recommend. We shall certainty revisit and recommend the Martin Arms.

Stopped for a quick bit of lunch. The place has recently been refurbished to a high standard. The food - a bacon and cheeseburger- was tasty and well presented. It's lovely pub with a good range of beers. Great for a base for walks in the dales.

Sublime Christmas Dinner! Booked a month in advance and got a table for Christmas eve. The turkey dinner was simply excellent! The meat was juicy and succulent, the veg was plentiful and delicious. My son's food was 5 minutes behind the rest of our meals and as a way of an apology (even though we hadn't said anything) the gave our 3 kids free ice cream! The pub itself has been refurbished and it looks fantastic. All the old wood has been sanded and looks stunning. The waitress was very friendly and spot on, no long waits and plenty of popping over to see if we needed anything else. Brilliant experience all round, we are definitely going back 😁

Fantastic stay, staff are very welcoming excellent customer service. Definitely would stay here again. Fabulous selection of gins.....56 intact. Thank you all for making our stay a good one.

Called in for lunch. Was mid week and was quiet when we arrived. Did start filling up though. Has been refurbished downstairs last June. The bedrooms (11 in total) are to be updated later. Modern feel to the bar. Wood burner lit. Bar staff friendly. Menu had a small choice. I chose fish and chips which was a good portion size. Husband chose lamb hot pot and he was not disappointed. They have a range of 56 gins on offer. Small beer garden to the side. Quiz night weekly and live music advertised.
