We chose this pub to finish off our walk through Dalkey and over to Sandycove. It has a nice atmosphere and offered a high chair and a little bread for our little child 1yo free of charge. The food was delicious and we enjoyed great service. We would love to come here again on our next trip to the area.
The food was sublime, the service was brilliant and the decor was wonderful. The Guinness stew was the best I've had anywhere in Ireland. Everything about my lunch was absolutely perfect!
I was there for lunch on a Saturday and I had crab and crayfish cakes with mixed vegetables on the side. Food was very good and staff very friendly. I guess the pub atmosphere is even better in late afternoon, but anyway I liked it!
Great service, a good selection of craft beers, and the food was amazing. I had the steak sandwich and it was basically perfect.
Love the Magger! Pints are delish and foods really good these days too! All round good spot in my opinion!
The warm goat cheese sandwich and the steak sandwich were both excellent. Haven't had such a great lunch in quite a while.
Very good guiness stew with mashed potatoes, nice selection of draft/bottled beers, what more can you wish for Definitely recommended

It was served with a smoked tomato sauce. This dish I feel does not work. Staff friendly. Service fairly good.
Good bar food, friendly staff
Excellent food & a real collection of classic & new craft beers served with a .
