Back again for the fish & chips! Really really good but I’d love to see the little extras at Ouzos; some nice breads before the meal, a surprising garnish with the main dish and a mint to cleanse the palate at the end of the meal. More peas with the fish & chips please! I will be back.
Was here for special lunch on 16 June. Lobster mains and crab starter absolutely delicious. The food is to die for. Tasty. Spotlessly clean. We'll be back. He's still raving about the mussels. Best seafood in Dublin.Recommended dishesSeafood Platter, Crab Pot
Had a lovely experience at Ouzos. The starters were amazing, loved the chicken pate and the mussels, and my steak was perfectly cooked. Definitely recommend Food: 5/5
We made a reservation for a table for four last night. When making the reservation for 7pm we were asked if we could make it 6.45pm which was no problem. On arrival our drinks orders were taken and we were given the menu. Our food order was taken promptly and an hour and a quarter later no food had arrived. After numerous requests our starters finally arrived. My prawns were over cooked and were not cleaned poop shoots were still in. One of our party had mussels and I almost had to go into the kitchen to get a hand bowl so hands could be cleaned. We waited another 40 minutes for the mains which were poor and badly cooked. During the time we were waiting there were several other tables in a similar situation. Some left with no food, others waited. In the meantime the second sitting arrived to find no table empty. The serving staff were very pleasant and clearly under enormous pressure. It is not a dining experience I enjoyed at all and I will not be returning.
Been there last week with 8ppl, had a lovely service, great atmosphere, delicious food and good price. The Chief and the owner is amazing as always, coming to welcome you and thank you during your dining. Totally recommend. The service was excellent. The staff couldn't do enough. I ordered the crab claws for starters and they were lovely but very small. The main I got was the grilled Salmon with asparagus and mash with a hollandaise sauce. It was fine but just no real flavours or seasoning at all. Gorgeous cocktails and the desert was lovely. I will go back as lovely atmosphere and great service maybe just the main course was a bit disappointing. But all in all a great place to eat.
First time here and it was a fantastic experience! The food was lovely, the ambience was class and the the staff were brilliant! Tried Crab for the first time and it was delicious! Highly recommended, especially people looking for seafood!
Disappointing experience. Apparently my friend had it burger is as good. It looked good. Hence two stars. My meal on the other hand was truly disappointing. Chicken Cesar salad- not overly complicated and difficult dish. I never have massive expectations when I order it as it is only a bit of chicken with salad dressing on cos lettuce. Saying that some places can make it so delicious you just can’t stop eating it. In Ouzos it’s not the case. Chicken- tasteless!!! Very little of it. Not to mention that it was pinkish inside. Sent it back and got feedback from the chef that it’s cooked and that’s just how chicken looks like. Salad dressing had not much taste either and a bit of parmesan cheese was there but i couldn’t really taste it. Restaurant has nice ambiance. Waiting staff was nice but completely forgot about our drink order. It was also a pretty long wait even though the place wasn’t busy at all. Personally would not recommend and will not be coming back.
