Story

Named after the Lost River Dene, the river in which Deansgate got it's name, ledgend says flowed along the Hanging Ditch connecting the River Irk to the River Irwell, at the northern end of Deansgate.

Perfect location for a quiet afternoon drink, a night out with the girls or an amazing football atmosphere.

Great place to watch a football game. Plenty of TV sets.Fantastic prices on specials & They give you just enough food to fill you up.

Drinks were warm and service was very poor. Use to be a great place to watch football but will not be returning.

Great friendly pub. Good staff. Nice cheap beer and good inexpensive food.

Inexperienced staff. It took an hour to bring two pieces of cake and they were reading the ingredients for every single cocktail. You can do that in a not busy day instead in a champions league day. 2nd visit. We ordered 50 chicken wings they gave us 25, instead beef burger chicken burger and instead a beef burger they gave us an overcooked kind of meet that didn't taste anything. I feel sorry for the waitresses, probably they haven't done this job before but is to much for them.
