Story

Spend time with us for great pub food in a place you'll love. We serve classic dishes with a modern twist - it's the perfect place to get together with familly and friends. Our restaurant is named after the local street of the same name. We are situated on the site of the famous Tommy Ducks pub which hosted a well known face or two over the years! Today, we specialise in freshly cooked, seasonal pub food, which is served up by our friendly team, Plus we're close to Bridgewater Hall, Old Trafford and the 02 Arena - ideal for a tasty meal after a long day!

My friends and I went for a meal on the 15 February  2018 at 5.15 as I am a sever celiac I was worried whether they catered for people like myself. I need not have worried the staff were fantastic, they showed me the menu helped me choose and made sure the no wheat in the kitchen touched my food knives and forks were separated from the rest.  I felt I was being a nuisance but the staff put me at ease.  Thank you Bishopsgate and the meal was tops.

Location and food were Great, but the speed of service was incredibly slow. It could have been due to the table where we were placed being out of sight... and out of sight is out of mind... but it did put me off.

Stayed for a week, and had dinner here each night.  Have done a few times now. 

My experience has (almost) always been of very courteous service, and perfectly speedy.  I do predict they would struggle if it were busy though. 

The food is nice quality... No complaints there. 

The restaurant itself is a bit 'dingy'... They could do with a few more lights!
