This veterinary practice is for those on low income. The nurse was professional and polite and the vet was kind, compassionate and extremely caring. She microchipped my puppy and he was happily playing with her, didn’t feel much. Absolutely recommend the practice and it’s coffee shop next door to support this amazing charity. And what beautiful views and surroundings.
Brilliant place to meet friends in the heart of the countryside. After a walk in Lyminge Forest my friend and myself stopped off for a coffee. The Cafe was quite busy with people having cooked breakfast. They looked fab but I cannot comment as I only had a coffee. The cakes looked delicious too and the waitress said the cakes were home-made. The best bit is that all profits go to The Lord Whisky Animal sanctuary. Thoroughly recommend. Good coffee, cheerful staff, lively setting. Perfect!
These guys are amazing! Found a nasty lump on my beautiful dogs back leg, it turned out to be a tumour. Would've cost me the best part of £1000 to have it done at my local vet, sadly I just don't have that kind of money, lord whiskey did it for £250. The surgery was done by a lovely very kind young female vet , I was perfectly happy that woody was in safe hands. He is making a brilliant recovery. 2 years ago I also visited lord whiskey with my elderly cat, fully expected to have to have him put to sleep, I really felt it was his time. Saw the same vet who did Woody's surgery My elderly cat is still going strong, he is full of life and enjoying every minute of it thanks to that young vet. She really knows her stuff!!!
Superb service. Very helpful. Great for the price compared to other vets. Our dog recovered so quickly from being speyed, testament to the quality of care she received. You would never have known she had had an op after the first night when she was dopey from anaesthetic.
Vet treatment is great however the tea rooms very expensive for poor quality meal. I ordered homemade pie with mash and veg, but I got commercially produced inedible pie with chips, peas and to my horror...ratatouille which I loathe. So I ate the chips and had to pay £12.50 for the meal. The entire place is looking very 'tired' and in need of renovation however, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful which takes the edge off all the negatives. I'll never eat there again but the coffee was nice.
Such nice people who actually dedicated there life's to helping animals for low income people, I have delt with them for year's I can not fault them at all The prices are so Reasonable unlike other vets who only care about money. These people are the opposit they care more about animals life I wish all vets was like this. Anyone who is on low income and wants help there are people you are looking for. They have both places open road minnis and Herne bay they run both vets. I would like to say a big thank you to all those who run both sites doing the right thing for animals. Best regards mark
Excellent care and treatment from dedicated staff, for those who are no longer in receipt of a true living wage and need some help to afford care for our precious pets. Thank you all for existing!
The vet and staff were great when our beloved dog had pyometra surgery...she recovered very quickly....will definitely be going back because they're trustworthy and great with our dog.
Was recommended to go here. My cavalier Alfie became very poorly. PDSA wouldn’t see him! Lord Whisky gave appointment later same day. When arrived vet Elizabeth rushed him through as critical. He was very serious & lucky for Alfie, Elizabeth was amazing with both Alfie, my daughter & I. She explained everything & gave him lnjections. We left with medication & asked to return 9am following morning. He now has a heart murmur but slowly recovering, thanx to amazing staff & low cost care! Sincerely grateful for allowing us to still have our Alfie.xx
Very helpful, I called for an appointment was booked in same week to have my checked over she also needed neutering they kept her in and I picked her up next day. The nearest scar and a happier cat thank you
