I joined the practice in 2015 and for two years none of the vets communicated what the condition was that my dog suffered with to me until I visited their Whitstable practice in September last year. This led to me loosing out claiming back on the insurance. My dog got given antibiotics which just reduced the condition but never improved it fully and after time it just came back. Not once did they give me any valid information and just said it was one of those things. Getting fed up with this and needing another appointment I went online to try and find out what was causing his problems myself my next visit I discussed this and they agreed it could be the route of the problem and did the test. Another visit but this time to their Whitstable branch. This vet was so thorough ( not an experience I was used to at the Faversham practice) said that the notes on the their computer system listed the condition and she said I could of claimed for this yet every time I visited previously they remained vague as to what was going on. They also failed to obtain the notes from my previous practice even though I supplied them with the information when I joined. Shockingly the information was all in my dogs notes but nobody had ever communicated this to me! I put in the claim but far too late to get any of the monies paid over the two years back. I had to pay the practice a admin fee for this privilege of claiming on my policy and yet it took two calls and over four weeks before it was sent to my insurer. I was so upset and so cross that I rang to speak to the practice manager (who is always in a meeting by the way) but unfortunately for me I spoke to the practice managers assistant Lesley who was so scathing, unsympathetic sarcastic and rude, therefore my complaint turned into two complaints after the rude way she spoke to me. I tried on a number of occasions to speak to the practice manager yet she remained illusive and failed to respond to my emails. My dog has suffered for two years with this condition and now by joining another Faversham practice (and lets face it they have more and better reviews) I hope he gets the proper treatment he deserves. I am not the sort of person that posts reviews but this is a warning to others thinking of joining the practice...DONT. It is worth doing the research and asking around as there are much better practices available in this area. The do not deserve the one star I've given frankly. If you care and love your animal don't let them down by choosing this practice! - An update - my dog is now getting the treatment he should of had a long time at my new practice. The admin is shocking at Lady Dane...always follow up to check they have sent your claim form off as it took weeks for them to send mine off and it could of meant I had to pay another excess! They also said they called my Insurer early January but when I obtained my dogs notes from them this was recorded on the notes on 26 February the day I told them I was leaving the practice!!!!
