Lager was very poor, pipes may benefit from cleaning. Changed to Guinness which was of acceptable standard. Very few people in, not surprised really, as a group of about 5 people were sat at bar, were very loud and used fair amount of very bad language! Obtained impression.they were staff or management as they appeared behind bar from time to time. Was very surprised to also note that a child of primary school age was sat amid the group, and this was at 10.30pm. One of the group started to play very, very loud music at which point I drank up an left. Overall impression was of a very poor pub that needs a lot of TLC and intervention by Joules the Brewer's.
Ok, aways hard to park. When we were last there they were rerouting the car parks, so it was hell. Hopefully when the work is done it will be better. Not that much cheaper, considering it's supposed to be an outlet shopping centre.
Roy & Sharon will always make you welcome, come winter always roaring fire to warm, plenty going on. keep up the good work guys always feel welcome
It was very nice, friendly atmosphere, friendly welcome, and efficient service. The managrress and bar staff were very pleasant and friendly. Worth visiting again.
Large green area so is family friendly and outdoor seating both to front and back. So great for a visit with or without children.
Brilliant family pub, couldnt reccomend it enough. Landlady is lovely and couldnt be more welcoming
Sharon and Roy are the best hosts going and the pub is full of colorful down to earth characters
Best landlord and landlady in town always putting things on for the public at their own expense
Friendly, good beer. Not a big crowd in mid week.
Nice friendly staff and a lovely pint of Guinness
