This is a great pub great atmosphere , dog friendly too . Staff are very friendly funny and down to earth . Very helpful .

Not a big fan of Marstons ales but must say a very nice pub in centre of town. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Food menu was typical pub grub but very nice and well priced. Would visit again when next in town. The BLT I had was huge and very nice.
Lovely pub, very clean, if you just want simple homemade food at a reasonable price you can't go wrong. 2 meals £12. Staff very friendly and attentive. Ate in the hallway which is a kind of indoor/outdoor area lovely and cool on what has been one of the hottest days this year.
Food here is very reasonably priced and tasty to boot! Lots of different options including some vegetarian. Couldn't fault the service and warm welcome.
Management are amazing, very friendly. Food is delicious and well worth the money. The crown its self is very clean and tidy, have a beautifully kept beer garden and it is also a dog friendly pub 10 out of 10 for us xx
