Great location with ample parking and nice gardens. Service was friendly and efficient. They were able to accommodate our group of 15 quite easily. Food was good, although portions were a little on the large side, very good value for money! Wide range of food on the menu, although I would have preferred more fish options. Recommended.

The Loft is possibly one of the worst places I've been to. Service absolutely terrible, waited 45 mins for a menu to be sent, constantly ignored by staff when trying to request one. Food took another 45 mins to come out and when it did it was both overcooked and cold at the same time (pretty impressive yeah!?). Others in the group had the same issue. The staff had a mix up with timings all night and when asked, had the front to blame me and my group. I notice a number of other tables (large and smaller gatherings) had issues that night. We all want local businesses to do well and we were looking forward to our evening but it was ruined by a complete disregard of what it takes to be a business. Running a restaurant takes skill, care, attention to detail and a want to please your customers. This place couldn't even tell the time so you're not on to a winner straight away. If you enjoy cold, bland, chewy food, served by staff who may or may not care (depending on their mood), please choose the loft. I'd spend your money elsewhere, there are several better choices nearby.

Absolutely AWFUL customer service with regard to the Senior Management Team of "The Loft". Completely unprofressional, clear lack of customer service training and showed their inexperience and naivety in dealing with a legitimate customer complaint. Literally too many problems with the whole evening to list (I would be here all day!), but rest assured they made sure that our birthday celebrations were completely and utterly spoilt by trying to blame us for their OWN mistakes. The only way I can describe it is that they came across as a bunch of "east end pub landlords" trying to "play" at running a "posh" restuarant ( I use the word "posh" VERY loosely). Quite clearly they dont have a clue at what they are doing and they showed that inexperience in abundance! An appalling evening from start to finish. If you are looking for good customer service, I would avoid this place at all costs! There are much better places to eat in the local area.
