A great place for kids and adults. Informative and good friendly service. Nice little cafe with seating areas indoors and outdoors with a curio shop. Enough parking on site and it's always nice to learn something new.

A fascinating place to visit. A great place to find out about creatures and plant life of the rainforest. Whilst not the biggest venue, there are many great creatures to see. The prices are around what we expected. There is onsite parking. It can get very bus, especially in the school holidays. Well worth a visit; and take the kids.

really very disappointed. i had heard plenty of good comments about this venue but it failed to live up to the expectation. In short there was not a great deal to see or do. There were no butterflies (out of season) and nothing to replace this attraction. There were a few but not many other mammals and reptiles to look at and the outdoor play area, whilst it had potential, was filthy and the area was very muddy. The indoor picnic area was not set up and with it raining we had to retreat to the car to eat. The attraction had good potential but needs a bit of a clean and some more interactive activities in the absence of some of the creatures. We struggled to entertain the kids for more than 45mins. We travelled longer than that to get to the attraction! Could be so much better

It's not the easiest to drive to. I recommend driving to junction 13 via M4 not 12! Then head to Hermatidge. Its sign posted that way to. As sat navs take you to junction 12, the routine is mostly small single lane roads. The place it self is great from small children. It's warm in winter. Wildlife is out and about. It's more like a small jungle than a zoo. Yes snakes and spiders are in glass enclosures. It's not a whole day experience rather than a 2 maybe 3 hours tops. But great for a small trip out. Adult year passes are £10.95. 1 adult and a child for a year is almost £20 for a year. Ample parking. Gift shop is more a souvenir shop. I don't rate the cafe highly hence the 4/5 stars. Not a great selection and rather small for the money, so pack a lunch before. IMPORTANT: School trips are almost daily and very busy! Until 2pm. So come after 2pm or call first! After 2 it's very quiet!

Absolutely beautiful place. Not too big, but very special. You are paying a fee and you have free access 1 year. You must visit this place!
