This place is amazing quite simply saved my life. Every member of staff I met could not do enough for me during my week stay on Birch ward. They were overrun all the time and non stop but each one made sure I mattered. If this was the whole NHS then there would be no problems anywhere. Thanks again.
I cannot praise all the members of staff in Holly suit highly enough. I had an ablation procedure on Wednesday and my experience from start to finish was exemplary. The best of everything we love and expect from the NHS. Every member of the team was professional and kind. I felt listened to and cared for and in totally safe hands at all times. I do not know all the team who were in the theatre there were a lot by name but specific shout outs to the wonderful consultants Dr Todd and Dr Ding who were absolutely outstanding, nurses Merlin and Emma who showed me real kindness and care and Phil who took my blood like an absolute pro. The nurse who completed my pre op was also excellent and very thorough. Absolutely outstanding hospital and staff. The highest of praise indeed.
From the minute we arrived 7.45am 9.5.24 we were taken great care of. From the lovely reception staff sorry I did not get names to nurse Emma. The lady serving lunch who was a welcome ray of sunshine and laughter and last but by no means least Dr Borbas who has changed my husbands life, we were looked after. Every question asked and tear shed was dealt with, with care and compassion. This hospital and it's staff are a credit to the NHS
Couldn't say anything negative. The X-ray department was quick, and the staff who conduct the x-ray are brilliant Some staff behind the counter can make you feel that you're invisible and have you standing around to give your details. It's not good when it's highly painful to stand ! which could be why you're there in the bloody first place. Apart from that all in all I felt cared for by the staff.
I was admitted to the Holly suite to have a pre op assessment and to have three stents placed in my heart. The staff sorry can’t remember their names and to the staff who performed my angiogram and stents and to Birch ward day and night staff for looking after me very welll. They were all fantastic and a credit to the hospital
I had minimally invasive mitral valve replacement in 2020. A fantastic hospital with fantastic staff. Massive thanks to my surgeon Mr Paul Modi and his colleagues for saving my life, i shall be eternally grateful
My husband had open heart surgery at this hospital earlier this month and without a doubt they saved his life. He was under the care of Jacub Marczak and I can't thank him and his team for the care and attention everyone of them gave in looking after him. All the intensive care staff, ward staff, radiographers, every single person paid their part in his recovery. Including the lovely staff who produced his food and cups of tea. From the bottom of my heart I thank everyone, Thank you SANDRA BAKSH
A fantastic hosptal, from the reception to pre and post opp care especially Karen and the team on holly suite, also mo who was funny just when i needed it after my cryo balloon treatment and Dr snowdon and his team who put me at ease the whole way, thank you.
Staff professional, friendly, helpful and welcoming. Consultants caring and ready to explain matters in understandable form with opportunities given to ask questions.
Visited last Thursday with my Mum and Sister, my sister took us in the car and we parked in the car park. We then went to wait in the coffee shop in the main entrance while Mum went to see a doctor who wanted bloods done and to see again in 6 months, from their we then came home.
