Great looking pub and good atmosphere. Dropped in here for food and they managed to squeeze us in on a busy Friday. Food was good but I thought a little over priced and felt the menu needed a little more choice. 
A super range of beers and lagers and the ever popular gins etc. Staff were polite and service was good.

Disabled friendly service, customers not so much. There are two blue badge bays but not enforced by the owners. I've had to find another restaurant to eat at because of it in occasion. This place looks nice. The food quality is great but prices exceed value for what is delivered. Beware the drip pricing. Everything costs extra. Not enough veg? That'll be extra. Not enough sauce? That'll be extra. Your £13 meal can quickly become £23 with the extras... Before the £7 desserts worth £1.50 turn up. 

The phones seldom get answered first time round when booking in advance. Expect a wait for service when you arrive unless the manager is in the bar.

For some odd reason pets (dogs) are allowed in restaurant areas in contravention of hygiene laws. A single dog hair on warm food is enough to cause as outbreak of food poisoning for  unfortunate punters. If they were guide dogs it would be illegal to ban them but this must stop. Many punters are allergic to pet fur and some have serious lung conditions exacerbated by animal fur proximity. I don't want an Irish setter squatting under the next table wagging gleefully and panting its hot breath in my face while I try to eat my roast beef dinner with my dying wife... seriously! Fetch!

Pleasant and enjoyable stay.Excellent food, friendly staff and location all in, perfect.
Next time I stay I will avoid room 8, constant drone of machinery of some description.
Next time another room,bound to be perfect.

The best Sunday lunch I have had in years . 4 adults 2 children 1 dog . Dog had a £2 Chicken dinner  with a Snuffle drink brewed especially for Dogs . The service and the Food,
and the real Ales were excellent. Will stay there the next time we go to see our Grand Children. Can't fault it lovely

Lovely, friendly pub.Loads of different gin's and gin cocktails.2 for £10 on the cocktails at certain times.Constantly changing ales with loads of variety.There are small samples of each ale next to pull to check colour.You can ask for a small sample to try before you buy.Larger and cider on draught.  Choice on bottled beer.Not tried the food but it looks amazing when its brought to the tables.Foods not cheap but its of a high quality so depends what you want.You can also have coffee and hot chocolate if you don't want alcohol.Log fire to keep you warm on cold nights.Staff are very friendly and welcoming.
