"It's sadly the end of an era, at 12:30pm today the building was sold meaning that The Little Bookshop is no more.Mary, Geoff and I Jim would like to thank all who visited over the 20 plus years that the shop was open.Mary and Geoff will still be selling second hand books down in Aberystwyth in Books Plus 7 Northgate Street, Aberystwyth SY23 2JS once restrictions are lifted for non essential shops should you be passing at some point and fancy a second hand book or 2 or maybe even an antique or collectable.Thank you once again for your custom.Diolch unwaith eto am eich arferiad"

Excellent ,changing window displays. Incredible Friendly service and knowledge. Brilliant for Railways, Quarrys, Welsh - local history. New area guides ,for visitors / tourist information. Welsh language DVDs & CDs A perfect place to explore especially if you visit us by Ffestiniog railway. Please pop in and spend. A book can last hundreds of years. What an investment.
What an absolute gem this place is! I visited today and was blown away by the myriad of rooms filled with the most fascinating collection of second hand books - piled high to the ceiling and with a chair for reading in each room. Also had a great collection of new children’s books.

The best book shop I have ever been to. I was reccomended this place by another book shop in Bala, as SLHB sold more 'second hand books'. The phrase does not do the shop justice by any stretch of the imagination, it is an absolute treasure trove, particularly for anyone with an affinity for Cymru and the Cymru. Just visit, the lovely lady who I rudely forgot to ask her name behind the counter is so welcoming and helpful. I wish her all the best, and with her ventures into extending into next door. 10/10
This is the best book shop I've been to in Wales. Even if you didn't find a book for you, it would not be a wasted journey. Just spending time in here is worth it
This is such a lovely shop with a more than helpful and friendly staff. I rang from Cardiff as I was looking for a book on Blaenau Ffestiniog for my Taid. The lady that I spoke to made an excellent recommendation, kept the book to one side for me and posted it within the same day. It arrived very well wrapped and is a beautiful book. Thanks for all of your help and the chat too. I'll be in to visit when I come up to Blaenau x
