Great time very interesting. The old workshops are just as they always were and the kilns now a heritage site protected for future generations. Great fun was the chance to play with clay. Some beautiful pots to see in the gallery and a most interesting film produced in 1952 of the pottery and Bernard Leach at work. Narrated by Bernard Leach. Very enjoyable morning.

Fantastically beautiful pottery, interesting history of Leach's career and your can make yourself a cafetiere of coffee in reception for a pound. If you sign up for gift aid, you get a year's free entry. I can't wait to go again.

Lovely simple museum which gives a real sense of what it was like to work in a studio pottery! The fact it still has potters working there gives it life. Staff are friendly and love the shop.

We turned up at 10:30 just in time for the free guided tour. The tour was excellent as there were many questions answered which gave more information on things you could see. The tour takes you though the processes of pottery add experienced by Bernard Leach from delivery to firing in the kilns. It also explains how the pottery was extended physically, technologically and made a viable working pottery.
