Stopped here on way into town. Lovely big garden out front, various places to sit, TV screens etc. Just had drinks so can't comment on food. Obviously a popular pub, quite busy. Pubs seem to do the Pimms and lemonade differently, but this one was spot on. Great pub just to chill out.
I recently had our work Christmas party at the private function room at The Lansdown which was fantastic. The function room is upstairs and we had our own bar on one side of the hall and the table seating and disco on the other side. We dealt with Emi with regards to arranging the event and she was great. We managed to seat 58 people for our 3 course meal, and there was an option for a buffet but we agreed to go with the 3 courses. The bar area was perfect for the start of the night where everyone could get a bit merry!! We then had our meal which was good. Don't expect Michelin star food as it is a sports bar which serves food and so there main thing is drinks and sports. But still, then food was decent. We were more interested in getting people to enjoy themselves! Then we moved some of the seats to open up to the dance floor and karaoke. The staff were great and I would like to say a big thank you to Emi for helping organise. Separate from the Christmas visit, I have been to the pub once before which is the downstairs area, and they have a great outdoor area which is good if you are watching sports or just a drink in the summer. Personally I would say it's a perfect venue for private functions.
Family friendly pub, close to Montpellier Gardens and shopping area. Lansdown Pub offers indoor and outdoor seating area, with big screen TV’s both in and out!! Perfect location to get to!
Thank you so much Jordan for your service and kindness in the past three weeks. We found this bar while working for a project in Cheltenham and it immediately became our favourite. Service does make a difference and you guys definitely did it! Hopefully we'll be back soon!
Lovely team. Slight mishap with the food, but the team was so quick to correct the issue and offered us drinks! Came to check up on us and gave our doggie treats! Would highly recommend - definitely my new local! Also amazing food!
Met up with some freinds for the rugby and decided to have a few drinks and food. What a lovely experience, staff were fabulous and the food was lovely. Thanks for a lovely evening. We will definitely be back

WOW! What can I say, a lovely afternoon at the Lansdown, staff friendly and happy, decided to stay for food..and so glad we did! Would give 10 stars if I could for amazing food & amazing staff! The dog loved the free biscuits too!
A big thank you to Emi and her team at The Lansdown for hosting our annual work celebrations on Friday Evening. The venue is perfect for what we needed, we had our own bar, room for a disco and the food was amazing and plenty of it, there was room for a photo booth in the bar area and a sweet trolley which we were allowed to bring in, and put up our own decorations, nothing was too much trouble for Emi ad her team, we will definitely be back, thank you The Lansdown
Stopped by here whilst walking from the train to town and so pleased I did! Awesome garden with music and sport Great bar - decent food and wicked service from a happy team! Will definitely be back - check it out
