This pub wins for the attention to deal and charm. The drinks display is colourful and just pulls you in. The whole atmosphere of the pub is charming, yet rustic. Which is good. The design and layout is great for seaside tourists just wandering past and being pulled in. The double doors are open so you can see inside straight away. That's what pulled me in the first time I visited. The second time was visiting the dinosaur journey next door and we ended up at the back of the pub with a discount for food and drink. The food they offer here is lovely. They have something for everyone. The prices are affordable and the drinks..well they can make a variety of cocktails for again, a great price. The seating is comfortable and you can even send the kids off to the play area whilst you enjoy a drink or two. The play area is free also! This pub is a winner for me because it has plenty to offer. Space, which is a must for people with push chairs and wheelchairs. Affordable, people visiting the seaside have already spent so much money on the kids and attractions so this place offers good food and drink at a price you cant argue with, good hospitality and very clean. I will definitely pop in when I next visit.
Here now first time, decent pub with a bit of background music. Drinks are reasonable and friendly staff.
Just opened under new management great staff very friendly and they come to you for your orderFood: 5/5
I would leave 0 stars if I could. The experience was awful from start to finish. The staff are rude and need training up on not only customer service but menu knowledge too. After having only half of my food turned up, I questioned the staff as to where the rest was, only to be told it didn't come with my meal even though it was clearly stated on the menu! It finally turned up and it was inedible because the poppadoms were soggy and dripping with oil. The bald barman is just absolutely clueless to what he's doing. Avoid this place!!
There should be more places like this! A decent pub, reasonably priced with a large soft play area on the premises. Kids love it in here, a great way to spend some time while they enjoy themselves. Friendly barstaff, definite recommend.
Great service. There was a large group of us and they were very accommodating. Great experience!Service: 5/5
We watched the football here's on Wednesday night. The pub is what you'd expect on the sea front. We ordered food and wasn't expecting much but it turned out to be very nice. Reasonable prices too. Staff very friendly and hard working.
Lovely burger and a Coke! Nice staff, very clean. The BBQ bacon burger was delicious.
Super quality service. Thank you for looking after us on Euros opening Gooo Englaaaand!!!!!Service: 5/5
Don’t know the very polite fella’s name but bringing me over a pot of ice with some tongs after I’d sat down with my drink was a cracking touch. Above and beyond, top geezer thank you.
