The hotel was on the outskirts of Dundee. Very quiet apart from some inconsiderate guests on our last night, talking loudly in the small hours.nThe room came with a fridge which was a nice touch. However the storage heater didn't work, but they provided a portable heater which soon warmed the room. The shower was amazing! Powerful spray with plenty of jot water. The room had adequate space, though where the tea/coffee facilities were in a very awkward spot. Also, we left our room refresh sign on the door after our second night, but it was turned around but our room wasn't done. We had to make trips to reception for towels, clean mugs and tea/coffee supplies.nAll in all, It was good value for money.
What an incredible stay!! Best spot around here for sure! Ashis from reception was a total hero! The definition of hospitality, we travelled with a baby and had a few issues for getting baby to sleep, they were able to provide a cot, change us to another room mid-stay, held our luggage after checking out so we could do one last dip in the pool and sit in the sauna before catching the plane back. We will definitely be returning
I have emailed twice now with the following however landmark haven't had the decency to even acknowledge it.nDear Manager,nnI am writing to formally complain about the extremely poor and distressing experience my family had at your restaurant on Sunday 13th December, where seven of us had booked for a Christmas lunch.nnFrom the outset, the experience was disorganised and unprofessional. There were no menus available at our table, and we were told by a member of staff that someone would come over to verbally explain the options, which was both unusual and impractical. My son was not offered a children’s menu or any alternative suitable for a child, and when I asked if we could view the bar menu instead, we were given a single bar menu to share between seven people.nnService issues continued when my husband received his drink in a visibly dirty glass.nnWhen it came to ordering food, my son did not want a Christmas dinner, which is entirely reasonable for a child, so I requested a cheeseburger from the bar menu. When this arrived, it was completely unacceptable. Upon biting into it, an excessive amount of blood poured out of the burger. It was absolutely disgusting and something I have never encountered before.nnMy son was extremely upset and distressed. He began crying immediately, frightened that he would become ill, and was unable to eat for the rest of the day. He felt unwell at the thought of it all evening and was genuinely shaken by the experience. I had to take him outside because he was so upset.nnMy husband took the burger to the bar to raise the issue, where the response from the server was simply an “oh” accompanied by an “ew” facial expression. There was no apology, no concern shown, and no acknowledgement of how serious the situation was - particularly given that this involved a child and a significant food safety issue. My husband requested replacement chips which my son could not eat and that the item be removed from the bill, which it was. However, this does not come close to addressing what happened.nnWe were the only customers in the restaurant at the time, so this cannot be attributed to pressure, busyness, or poor timing. We had booked this meal as a Christmas family get-together, and instead my son was left without lunch and genuinely traumatised by the experience.nnI am extremely angry and disappointed. The lack of basic service standards, combined with what I consider to be a serious failure in food preparation and staff response, completely ruined what should have been a special family occasion.nnI would appreciate a written response explaining how this situation occurred, what steps you are taking to ensure it does not happen again, and how you intend to address the distress caused — particularly to my child.nnI look forward to your response.
We spent such a lovely family holiday here! The spa facilities steam room, dry sauna and pool were very nice and clean enough quite good for a UK spa. The staff were also wonderful and friendly. The front desk staff Shon was particularly kind and made our stay really memorable. Thank you!
Dated but clean, helpful staff, busy breakfast service and a wait for fresh food.nnParking the main issue.nnIf you have problems with the parking app and can't log in and the staff say they can fix it don't go with that.nnYou get a parking charge from Parkmavon, you appeal and it gets rejected, so you end up with a bill that give you another weekend stay.
