I had a lovely two night stay at this hotel. My junior suite was well appointed and had everything I needed. It was very comfortable and the fridge was replenished with water. I think they put on a lovely breakfast spread and the service was attentive and professional. I had a serious leak in my room which would have been obvious to the staff because there were watermarks above the window and when it rained, water came into the room a lot and splashed on my belongings. I do not think the suite I was in should be rented out until they fix the leak. They should not have charged full room rate for it. Other than that, if I ever visit Dundee again, which I most likely will not, I would stay at that hotel again.
It was first class the staff were so efficient and friendly no expense appears to have been spared when converting a listed mill into a hotel. The bedroom was superb but what impressed me the most was how much attention had been taken on the details even a coffee machine a light in the wardrobe and proper clothes hangers as well as locally made curtains, the bedding was also great. The bathroom was a wet room with a mirror which didn't steam up piped in music from the bedroom and endless hot water.The bedroom numbers were even lit up.I could go on for ever about the things I was impressed I nearly forgot how good the breakfast was. The architect and designer used should certainly stand up and take a bow. As you will have noticed I was Impressed.
Feels luxurious, rooms lovely, decorated nicely and the fridge was great. Some of the throw pillows on the bed had minor marks on them so unsure how often they are cleaned, but otherwise cleaned well. Had a nice stay and would stay again, although I didn't realise I had to pay £50 deposit on the day which took a while to go back into my bank which was annoying and not explained very well by staff.
I've only stayed once but had a lovely stay. The staff were lovely and professional. I was upgraded to a suite and it was beautiful, felt very luxurious. The room had character which is nice in a chain hotel. The bathroom was lovely with smart facilities and underfloor heating which was much appreciated. The snacks in the room were great too!nBreakfast was tasty with a lot of choice.
Over all just okay, pillows are horrible. Only hangers are in the wardrobe, no place to hang your jacket on. It does have a fridge and a good power shower. Staff are amazing and helpful, greeting you every time in and out.
