Spent £183 in pets corner yesterday in Marlborough, returned the items items 30 minutes later.  Am told today I will need to wait 14 days for a refund of £159.  Store staff don’t seem to be able to justify this… beware if you fall in to trap !

Today I was asked to leave my job because a customer complained that I hadn’t stayed overtime to wait for him to collect a bag of food, I was on my own looking after the shop at the time, I shut the store at the correct time, all week I’d been suffering from a severe tooth abscess and I had an emergency appointment with the dentist soon after work that evening so was unable to stay open for longer. I am absolutely disgusted in the way I have been treated I even turned up to work everyday in agony thank you so much for this great opportunity for working for such a caring and considerate company.

I always buy something when I visit this store, I've had a poorly cat, that was off his food and my husband spoke to a lovely member of staff who advised of some tasty food for the cat, which he loved. Very friendly and helpful staff and a lovely store...

All the staff are lovely and friendly, my ferret Bruce loves popping in to see everyone for cuddles and leading someone around the shop a few times, While i buy their food and toys. Its THE BEST pet shop ive ever experienced. Thank you ladies at the Starbeck store

Like pets corner, focuses a lot on dogs but some good cat and fish items to keep me going. Their stainless steel kitten bowls were just what I needed but they only had one in stock where I needed two. Bought the one and ordered the other online

Always loved this shop. But will get stuff elsewhere. I had a reply to my email about the member of staff. Seems they feel he's done nothing wrong. Talking about it can be daunting. Come off it. You have to be good with public in retail. Good customer skills. Also told no more receipts unless you ask. When I think of the money I spent in there. You need a receipt so you have evidence of what you got. Seems its gone down the nick since previous manager left.

Purchased a beautiful Syrian hamster some weeks ago. Policy is to show staff the size of the cage and essential items already at home via photograph before they let you buy a hamster. This shows the staff and the company really care about the welfare of the pets they sell. Most of the staff were very knowledgeable and were very patient with my daughter, who visited her hamster often in the week leading up to taking it home. The young hamsters were kept in a very clean environment whilst in the shop. The staff gave my daughter an educational session of how to handle and care for her hamster on the day of purchase. Birth certificate provided. Very impressed with everything. Highly highly recommend. Thank you so very much Pets Corner.
