🌱(Vegan-friendly) Delicious food and smart decor.  Decent range of drinks and the staff were attentive, friendly and helpful, however, they weren't a patch on the quality of the food, which was very, very nice.  Often get told that 'the chef will  do something for you' after asking for a vegan meal but this was really good.  Had a Christmas dinner with our own gravy and veg to accompany a lovely vegan wellington that really ticked the roast dinner box.  Hadn't been for ages before then but we will definitely be back before long after such a good meal.  Definitely worth a visit if you're near Abergele and are after some good food.

Can't say enough about this place. The rooms are beautiful so if you ever get a chance to stay over, do!

We had the worst meal I can remember here.  A party of us had our starters at 9 45pm.  We got there at 8!!! Another table walked out.  I had mackerel as a starter which was like luke warm strips of raw slug.  Quite a few of us sent back our starters.  Main was mediocre at best and my dessert was a mousse not a cheesecake.  The management could not seem to care less and to my knowledge never offered a discount or free bottle of wine for such a disastrous meal.  It's a country pub but it's trying to be something it isn't.  Pretentious and overpriced.

Popped in for lunch on spec-made to feel so welcome and the good -service and presentation of the excellent food were outstanding-particularly impressed with ladies size cod!!
