Early on in the season so club not overly busy. Missed the quiz but had a game of bingo and then a female artist was performing. A good night, she was great with the kids getting them to dance. Just had the fried chicken strips, side salad and sweet chilli sauce and onion rings. Really tasty.

Pleasantly surprised entering this place, the outside seating space is really lovely little decking seated areas, private type booths with false planting and outside heaters. Ordered drinks and watched the world go bye
Went to the “family” bar with a child with hidden disabilities and because my son shouted out something the DJ didn’t like when he was telling lies about the amount of money being given out at bingo he reacted and got all bouncers involved! My son is 10, btw! For a family bar this needs to be address as it was a hideous performance that had caused stress to me son.
Love the beach bar area, you feel like you're abroad in the summer here. Staff are very friendly and the food is nice.

A Great Family Restaurant and Bar that has a new children's play area that has opened recently. They have a new and improved menu and have a love island inspired by refurbished outdoor area. The staff are kind and friendly. Coming again next year. Quite expensive if you have a large Family but great value for money with the portions.
Jakes as a good atmosphere, ale and food are good but pricey lots of football on tv kid entertainment
Jakes is a family pub on a caravan site. It is pricey for such a venue. The breakfast offers a reasonable deal 2 small breakfasts for £7.50. But drinks are expensive £2 for half a cup of coffee, I had to ask for my cups to be filled every time I ordered. If you do order breakfast and stay for a drink after do not expect your tables to be cleared quickly. We had breakfast and then watched football and our coffee cups were on the table for over 2 hours. Many tables were piled high with plates yet there were staff doing nothing behind the bar. The staff are friendly but inexperienced. I did complain and a young lady came over to me in front of many others, hands on knees speaking to me as a child and offered me a piece of cake to make things better. The tables are very close together and the seating around the pillars make it a maze. There is a small arcade and soft play area but it gets stuffy quickly and very warm. To ventilate the back doors are left open! There is evening entertainment but not enough room.
Been here a few times, decided to try the Sunday lunch. Very expensive, £16.45 for a 2 course. Asked what the vegetables were with the meal, told carrots, peas and sweetcorn. It came with cabbage, green beans and carrots. Strangely the mashed potatoes had some green bits in, I enquired and was told they were onions in the mash. Down to personal choice I guess. On the plus side the beach bar is really good, well laid out with a lot of seating.
