Popped in here this evening. As me and my wife are trying every Chinese chippy's S&P chips in the Rochdale borough for fun. Great food, the salt and pepper chips were perfect, probably the best so far that we've tasted. Would have liked it a little more spicier but that's just me. Great service, extremely quick and polite. Will come again.
I ordered meat and potatoes pie Fish and peas Chicken noodles 2 cans £19 which was ridiculous and the fish looked poorly I’ll. the chips were just crispy non potatoe things and the peas well I don’t even know what they were.
Great chippy always busy staff works hard Kid-friendliness: School children always going and are welcome Parking: Fab place
Given it 4 as it was near closing time so I didn't really expect freshly fried chips, good portion though, again maybe because it was late. Good covid measures.

Disgusting meals. Chips were reheated, mostly grey-black in colour and hard and nearly cold. Pie was tepid. Had to wait ages for the order. Would never go again. Would give zero stars if I could.
I miss this takeaway at the moment, tried Yuki a couple doors down and was severly disappointed at such poor quality of food for a higher price. Happy Fish Bar has absolutely lovely quality of food and tastes good everytime, also I never had an allergic reaction to them, which proves they take pride in their food, whereas Yuki has caused me an allergic reaction even though I have stated several times that I am allergic to nuts.
Great little takeaway. Mainly chip shop and Chinese, but lots of others too. Reasonably priced, quick service. Free parking across the road. Friendly service.
Love the food here,especially the rag puddings.Staff really friendly and prices are about right,you get a lot for your money.highly recommend.
Just had fish chips and mushy peas absolutely disgusting fish no bigger than a tiddler mushy peas watered down than much we had to drain off waste of money.bever again
