This is a great pub with a wonderful atmosphere and good beer. Theres a nice warm fire to sit next to and they're very dog friendly. We didn't eat today but have done in the past and it was excellent.

Excellent example of traditional pub with tap room instead of bar. Adnams beers straight from the cask in excellent condition. Staff are very polite, helpful and friendly. Our dog Lola was made very welcome. Food very good. Hope this gem of a pub retains its character and goes from strength to strength!

The Low House is a must-visit pub for tourists to the area, but is pretty popular with locals too. There is no bar, with the drinks being served straight from the cask in the tap room. I haven't eaten there myself but I am told that the food is good by people who have.
