Fab pub, parking available out the front and also around the green. Great service, friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was excellent, I had the Kentish Ploughman's followed by the sticky toffee pudding. Great value for money, would recommend,a real 5* pub
Flavours amazing, staff nice, toilets clean, but vibe a bit flat... felt sparse not cosy. On pricey side for not massive portions apart from the Yorkshire pud!
Very nice pub & friendly staff. We turned up on a busy Sunday and they managed to squeeze us in. Here’s our roast Lamb. We’ll definitely be back.
A big thank you to Paul, we were a last minute reservation and accommodated us with a our wee lady! So we haven’t had much luck with Pub Sunday roasts of late. Well this place is amazing. From the minute you see it you will be impressed. A traditional country pub with open fires and gorgeous garden. All the staff were so pleasant and helpful. After all that then there is the food.. roast lamb was amazing and all the sides were exquisite. A good glass of red or a cheeky pint they have it all! Thank you for such an amazing Sunday lunch. The bar has truly been set high by this venue.
Came here for Sunday lunch - had the chicken which was delicious! Will definitely be returning. They also do a doggy roast...so everyone was happy
Great restaurant with tasty food, good range of drinks and very friendly serving staff.
Sat right by the fire so warm enough. Rest of bar might have been a little cool as front door opened and closed. Food good from restricted menu - a lot of chicken dishes. Linguine well cooked but few extras. Dessrts good but small for price. Overall a good village green type pub with a young, willing staff.
We had a party of 16 adults and 2 children one age 3 and one age 1. The meal was very good, all came out at the same time and was hot. The staff were very attentive and did everything they could to accommodate us. Would definitely go back again. Thank you.
If it's a warm reception and unhurried atmosphere you seek, this King's Head is for you. So chilled a stranger might wonder who is staff and who is guest. Food is good and there's plenty of it. One was unsurprised to find a mature-of-years artist in the bar holding builders in thrall to the wonders of, well, paint. Plenty of parking.
Great pub for eating. Not the first time we had been there. Fast service, good food, decent portions, will go back.
