Nice traditional pub on the outskirts of Sevenoaks with good atmosphere and nice friendly staff. We popped in on the way home for a quick bite and it was very relaxing indeed. Food is decently portioned and the quality isn’t bad at all. Prices aren’t cheap let’s be honest but couldn’t complain! Will definitely be back!
Fab pub, parking available out the front and also around the green. Great service, friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was excellent, I had the Kentish Ploughman's followed by the sticky toffee pudding. Great value for money, would recommend,a real 5* pub
I chose fish and chips as it was Friday, the fish beautifully presented with mushy peas which were very tasty, unfortunately the service was not up to my expectations. Far to slow and table not cleared away on time, the venue was fine, as expected. XXX
Flavours amazing, staff nice, toilets clean, but vibe a bit flat... felt sparse not cosy. On pricey side for not massive portions apart from the Yorkshire pud!
Very nice pub & friendly staff. We turned up on a busy Sunday and they managed to squeeze us in. Here’s our roast Lamb. We’ll definitely be back.
Came here for Sunday lunch - had the chicken which was delicious! Will definitely be returning. They also do a doggy roast...so everyone was happy
Sat right by the fire so warm enough. Rest of bar might have been a little cool as front door opened and closed. Food good from restricted menu - a lot of chicken dishes. Linguine well cooked but few extras. Dessrts good but small for price. Overall a good village green type pub with a young, willing staff.
Let's start with the bad. The kids meal was a whopping £8 and came with a spoonful of pasta and two slices of bread. Presentation was not made. Looked like they couldn't be bothered. We asked about the portion size and was told that twe could order another portion if we were not satisfied. The restaurant advertised that it was 'home cooked food' the fries for £4.50 were hardly homemade. Ok the good, and there is PLENTY of good. The atmosphere was great. The facilities are clean and tidy. The motif is pleasant pub chic. Dogs allowed. The servers were friendly and helpful. The service itself was timely and the staff were always in distance to help. The food was very well made and the element of homemade really came through for the burger and hallumi fries. Desert was well presented and tasty. In summary, pleasant time in this place and overall good standard of food apart from kid's meals. Good service and pleasant staff. Prices slightly excessive overall
Great pub for eating. Not the first time we had been there. Fast service, good food, decent portions, will go back.
quite a basic menu, would enjoy lighter dinner options apart from the salad, but the garlic bread and chicken we had was very nice and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Also very much liked the decor
