Don't be put off by the tired exterior! A warm welcome - from both staff and wood burner - awaits you. The home made and individually prepared pizzas are first- class. We shall definitely be returning.

We visited as part of our ongoing trip around the moor visiting all the pubs. We arrived soon after opening time and received an extremely friendly welcome from the young lady behind the bar. The pub is cosy and traditional, and provided a great atmosphere to sit and chat. We decided not to eat, purely because it was still quite early for lunch, but we now regret that decision as the nearby Oxenham Arms was not nearly so welcoming. We will definitely be returning to the Kings arms to sample the menu in the near future.

Great beer, great food, great atmosphere and always loads going on. Friendly and welcoming staff. Just a terrific local in a beautiful location.

Great local pub with a wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff and owners. Sunday lunch is amazing and there is a good selection of local ales as well as a wide range of spirits. Best times to visit: During the Folk Festival and local carnival.
