Story

The Kings Arms is an old hostelry with a modern outlook set in a conservation area of Northgate Street. Situated a stones throw away from the Market Place and adjacent to St Nicholas Church.

The Kings Arms has a large bar area with a small but cosy restaurant serving light snacks to home cooked favourites. It boasts a large beer garden with a sheltered patio area for that cool drink in the sun or some alfresco dining.

Nice pub, friendly welcome. Food was fantastic, especially the cottage pie even though it was off the £6 menu. Thoroughly impressed

First time we had been to the pub. It was very welcoming and happy  staff. The food was out of this world, good value and lots of it. We will certainly be going again. Thanks guys

These guys looked after our group of 13 wonderfully! It's a couple of minutes walk from the market and worth the find. Gorgeous food at brilliant prices. Our waitress Jaime couldn't do enough for us and was great fun. Highly recommend

Great local place. Has a lovely beer garden out back for when the better weather rolls in.
