The Kings Arms is an old hostelry with a modern outlook set in a conservation area of Northgate Street. Situated a stones throw away from the Market Place and adjacent to St Nicholas Church.

The Kings Arms has a large bar area with a small but cosy restaurant serving light snacks to home cooked favourites. It boasts a large beer garden with a sheltered patio area for that cool drink in the sun or some alfresco dining.

We had an excellent meal in this welcoming pub. Parking was available the street close to the pub. The pub isnt well lit outside at night so its easy to drive past if you're unfamiliar with the area. Inside we found a table easily. Our food and drinks order was taken at the table. Prices are reasonable. The food was good, tasty, hot, and reasonable portions. The lady who served us was friendly and welcoming. The ladies toilets are something else see photos clean and colorful . I would definitely eat here again.
We visited today whilst on holiday and were really impressed. We don’t usually eat in pubs, but was seriously impressed with this experience.nnI think our waitress was Skye, and she was lovely, as was all the staff. So friendly, and great with our kidsnnWe arrived an hour early for a table of 8, and whilst we couldn’t be seated straight away, we were well looked afternnThe food was lovely, and such good value! We asked for more gravy and nothing was too much trouble.nnWe visited on Easter Sunday and some lovely people organised an Easter egg hunt and for the Easter bunny to appear. This was all included, the kids loved it and it made for a really memorable trip.nnIt’s so rare these days to talk about good value, but this place is amazing value, both from a cost perspective, but also what you get, great food, amazing staff, great service, effort put in for children - super happynnAnd thanks to Skye, she was awesome!!!!
Used chat gbt to find good food nearby the caravan site where I’m staying. This place come up with good reviews so gave it a go. Friendly staff and excellent well priced food. I’ve actually eaten here twice this week with my 7 year old son.nTara was excellent!
Called on the off chance after being told there were no tables at another restaurant. Called The King's Arms to see if they could cater and they could at short notice. We sat outside as weather was lovely. Children played in outside area which kept them occupied. Staff are lovely and knowledgeable. Helpful too. Had Sunday roast, I had beef and other half had turkey. Both were devoured. I also had Kings toast which was YUM. We are visiting from London, however should we holiday in Great Yarmouth again we will definitely be back. Thank you to everyone that was so kind and catering for us. Claire xxx
We went as a family of 4 plus our dog and got the 2-4-1 burger deal which I don’t usually go for but wow I was genuinely blown away by this food! It was incredible I’m still thinking about it 2 hours later. 10/10 from me. Unfortunately I’m not local but I will definitely be going again!
