Great Real Ale pub, with easy access to Gt.Yarmouth, town centre, market place. Very friendly staff, taste before you buy on real ales. Really good, old style pub atmosphere. Obviously ran by people with a passion for a great pint. Good prices too. We loved it

Good pub, lots of choice, but as usual served flat, good beer spoiled.
Should serve it as intended by the brewer.
Sheffield Abbeydale brewery, therefore put a top on it.

Up to 10 top notch real ales. An amusing set of customers - some may even have been the subject of a David Attenborough programme. Brilliant pair of bar staff in young Jess and Steve. Serves the best cider in town. Real fire. Photo of one of the regulars - he doesn't bite! Now just known as The Mariners. For February, all real ales and cider £2.90 a pint.

Friendly staff and good selection of ale. Not exactly what you would call lively but if you want somewhere to drink in peace look no further.

Very warm welcoming bar staff, cannot do enough to help, great choice of beverages, ales etc highly recommend a visit, go warm yourself by the coal fire,
