Great place to have a drink after a long hike.nnLast Food order on a Sunday is 3:45pm at least when I was there.

Having parked round the corner in the local car park we had a very warm welcome by the staff. Our 10 month baby enjoyed a clean high chair while the dog tucked into his ice cream. Local ales were good and food was tasty. Thank you to the ladies who waited on our table & made the experience so pleasant.

A very welcoming pub called in on a whim and accommodated us no problems. Excellent food and very generous portions! Nice selection of beers on tap. Great atmosphere with a lovely beer garden at the rear. Definitely recommend

Used to come here every week when we lived next door. This is the first time visiting in years. Amazing what they have done to it, lots more seats and space now. I've never had food here before so tried the fish and chips, they were lovely and came really quick. The staff were friendly, there were two dogs there, so well behaved. Definitely come back again.

Unfortunately for others, our dog is very nervous about others, and it can be a problem when out. We said this when we booked, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and understanding.nWe were given a table in the corner, and the staff approached with care. The food was excellent, and portion size was a little large for us, but the dog enjoyed the leftovers. Very relaxed atmosphere and comfortable with very professional staff.
