Cheap, effective and a great place to drink. Food at Wetherspoons is standard and cheap, which is fine if that’s what you’re after. The drinks are incredibly cheap and offer superb table service . Love the Jolly Tars as it’s friendly , offers a fabulous fireplace, lots of drink options and a place you can go to early a stay the night!

Other than my pizza being slightly underdone, in my opinion, I had a lovely meal here on my visit to see a friend who has just moved to the area. The staff were really friendly and helpful, service was speedy and the order was accurate.

I meet a friend at The Jolly Tars about once a fortnight, where we have tea/coffee and toast before heading to Fleetwood.  The staff are always helpful, friendly and efficient, and there's a friendly atmosphere.  Occasionally, we'll have a late breakfast or lunch - whatever we have is always tasty and hot, and a jolly reasonable price.  Well done!
