This was a brilliant pub for drinking, with a pretty white and red interior! The lights and the ceiling style around them are lovely, counter is nicely presented in a curved shape too. I had a fresh pint of Poretti and seating is comfortable, where cleanliness was solid!

Good choice of cask ales and excellent value meals. The building was formerly the Post Office opened in 1899. Has a carving of Queen Victoria over one door and although there is one of Prince Albert over the other door, it's unfortunately obscured by a clock. Named after the great inventor James Watt who is from Greenock.
