Really disappointed in this local restaurant and unfortunately won't be back for food which is a shame as I like to support local businesses. We visited as a family of four and not one of us finished our meal, which never happens. They use the cheapest of french fries and served our poutine cold, which had to be returned. Overall as a bar it has nice decor, good staff and great music, but the food is poor.
Now that they have changed their name to West they have changed the menu's to suit their own style of food. Ate here many times and every meal has been brilliant. Though not a vegetarian myself I have eaten some vegetarian meals here and they are great. Staff are attentive and friendly. Started entertainment on Fridays and a quiz on Wednesdays. Well worth a visit even if you just want some of the amazing cocktails on the list.
Friendly staff, courteous and attentive. Good food, not a great selection but everything ordered was delicious​ and well received. Only downside was seating, felt a bit cramped but not uncomfortable. A more spacious location would serve the restaurant well. Recommended.
Love the breakfast here but came for lunch this time which was beautiful. Sticky beef fajitas huge plate kids mac n cheese and kids burger, a portion of salt and spicy chips both kids got hot choc brownie and ice cream after the dinner as well. 2 cokes all for £24. My only wee fault was my fajitas were slightly to spicy for me but tasted amazing, next time I'd ask for less chilli though. Staff are lovely and were great with kids. Found my new go to place in Greenock. Really recommend
Just got our first ever meal from here using Just Eat and honestly blown away by the quality, portion size, taste and presentation. They use perfect delivery containers to ensure the food stays how it should be and keeps its temperature. The fajitas came all seperate so you can do them just how you like them. I'm just gutted I forgot to add my burger to the order based on how everything else looked and tasted. We had: Haggis Mac n Cheese, Chippotle & Chorizzo Mac n Cheese, Chicken Fajitas, salt and chilli chips, normal chips and poutine with chicken the best chips, cheese and gravy ever!. Honestly can't fault anything at all and if the take away / delivery tastes this good we'll be coming in soon!
went to West for lunch today,looking forward to the new menu and to taste some exciting new food! I ordered fish tacos,I asked if it was fresh fish in the goujons n it was... when the 2 dry tacos arrived with 4 shrivled bits of dried up fish came with a sprinkle of lettuce I was well disappointed!!! so dry and tasteless
Went on Saturday night for a few drinks my cousin had all ready made a complaint about the service she and 7 family/friends received prior to this she was offered to come in for complimentary drinks so I had ordered my drinks for me and my girlfriend they came in to the place said come sit with us in a booth we followed expecting to pay our drinks and they get there’s for free but she said to the member of staff there with us so there drinks will be on our tab he said aye local slang for yes. Every time they ordered I found it funny he never too me and my partners order, the guy serving was well over the top flirting with them way over the top it made us cringe. When we left we all said thanks waved and left he came out shouting in the street big man you haven’t paid your bill at the top of his voice to which I was surprised when he about 1hour prior told us drinks are on the house so I paid the £19.75 they requested me to pay I was so embarrassed about it didn’t know what to say or do. So then I send a private message to them so the can resolve the complaint David one of the owners said I was being abusive in my message and he had every right to shout at me for not paying which I accept if that was the case! Now he had told me I’m not welcome to go back to the place what a joke of a establishment
My family, loved it, I didn't find much on the menu, that I liked, but you can never go wrong with a burger. Service was excellent, and the servers, were really helpful and pleasant.
Had dinner for my wife's birthday. Staff were very friendly and always helpful. Food was absolutely brilliant. Defo will b returning.
Changed its name to West now. Vaugely American themed with some Latin American dishes too. Tacos were quite spicy but very enjoyable!
