Great central location. Simple layout- a big high ceiling square. Couldn't comment on the accommodation. Friendly helpful staff. A decent range of cocktails, local beers and single malts. The food was great value, ribeye steak was tender, great value and very flavourful. Popular with locals and visitors alike.
Enjoyed a few cocktails food and live music. Ate the steak and ale pie with a gin flight. My wife had a rose garden and French martini to go with a Cesar salad and soup. All in all it was great, just not over the top for a 5.
Great and very helpful friendly staff ..very clean rooms ..and they are cosy..beds comfy..quirky little freebies .. milk and cookies and hot water bottle ..food lush..area of hotel fantastic ..will definitely be back
We dived in here after being on the lash in Edinburgh, I said to myself I have to try the Haggis and it was delicious, the Jameson Whiskey sauce was beautiful. Got the club sambo and washed it down with a beer and a bottle of white wine. A really nice bar with modern decor.
Brilliant place for drinks on the royal mile. I had a spritz which cost £6.95 which I thought was very reasonable. Great atmosphere too.
Lovely staff. On the corner of the Royal Mile/North bridge. Plenty food choices, nice atmosphere. Modern, good decor. Nice place to get a tea/coffee, breakfast, lunch or just a small something to eat. Centrally located and staff friendly, polite and constantly checked if ok and if we would like anything else.
Nice updated rooms. Extremely friendly staff. We asked for a few extra pillows and they ran to unto their hotel to grab them! The included breakfast and food was also awesome. Great location to explore the new and old town. I would highly recommend!
