The Huntsman is a traditional pub with background music only, a place where you can come in have a drink and a bite to eat and socialise with friend and above all talk. It has 2 real fires with coal and logs. All our food is homemade and traditional. Outdoor area with scenic views.

My first time ordering today. Food is amazing so fresh and perfectly cooked. Lots of beautiful vegatables. I can't rate this highly enough. My roast pork was awesome. Highly recommended. Slightly more expensive but worth every penny. Thank you and will be ordering again. Barbara
Nice pub, nice location, good food, but too often erratic opening hours. Many times have rocked up to find it closed due to staff illness. Would patronise more frequently if I wasn't wondering if the door would be open.
The food/service is outstanding....can certainly recommend the Homemade steak pie! Meals at the minute are £5...but we will definitely still be returning once they return to full price. Just wish I'd had room for a pudding
Just moved into the area and decided to check out my new local last night. What a lovely little pub. The staff are friendly, polite and very welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious! Decent prices for what you get, I felt like I was going to pop, I ate so much. Me and my friends and family will definitely be going back.
Lovely country pub with beautiful views of the countryside for now anyway and a good selection of lagers and real ales, staff were friendly and welcoming too. We will definitely call again.
The best local pub by far. Friendly staff, good food & all the locals very welcoming. Only came in a couple of times before I was made to feel like a regular. A real pub with a real atmosphere, not like most of the 'plastic' pubs popping up nowadays. Wide selection of beers & real ales as well.
Really nice local with a good selection of real ale and friendly staff. Highlights include the home cooked meals from Thursday lunchtime through until Sunday. Good choice and reasonable prices. Specials board can be a bit elusive sometimes.

We booked a table, but decided to sit outside, the gentleman in charge said it's no problem, he was very attentive and anything we needed wasn't a problem,myself and my daughter were impressed by how friendly and welcoming the staff were, also the food was fab.
Lovely pub and great for food and beer garden with the dog. Live down the road and walk up for food and drinks which we usually have outside but today we were told we cant have food outside and cant come inside as we have a dog. Very disappointing to say the least, dont think I'll be back now.
