I look forward to receiving The Hotel Guru emails can't say that about too many subscriptions! In fact, I have been adding hotels I want to stay at onto my Google map which will save me time when I need to research cities and places I will visit in future!  Have stayed at hotels recommended by The Hotel Guru and can say that the recommendations are solid.  P.S. Wondered who/why someone left a 1 star review, and of course, it's totally underserved! Probably can't work their own computer and decided to leave a bad review. Should be removed!! 5 stars all the way!

If you want boutique hotels and  anything from city centres to out of the way places at a full range of prices this is the website for you. Intelligent and honest reviews and a helpful team at base make it our automatic choice when looking for somewhere  to stay all over the world.

Excellent advice especially for finding not yet discovered gems off the usual tourist trajectories.

Helpful site with good descriptions of Hotels which we found very useful & enabled us to identify and book Hotels

i dont know whether its my computer or you have to create an account first, but this website is unusable... when you click to look at something it throws you straight back to the homepage... all its asking for is subscription..how do expect to sell holidays if no one can access it ?
