Sunday roast. Just ok. The menu stated glazed/mustard carrots, they were just plain boiled and undercooked. I had to ask for the missing parsnips which were also much too al dente. However the person on the next table looked to have parsnips cooked to perfection.
Absolutely loved our visit to the Horton Arms this week. Atmosphere was great, brilliant selection of drinks and the food was too class. Staff were super attentive even though they were super busy. Definitely be back again!
Easy to park. Accepted us as a walk in without a long wait. Good selection of food including vegetarian and children's meals. Tasty food friendly service. Nice atmosphere
Lovely food, very delicious cheese and onion pie. Staff friendly, service good, really nice interior, very welcoming. Just a bit drafty where we were sat as it was near the door, otherwise great choice.
First visit to the Horton Arms today and I wasn’t disappointed .Lovely, cosy pub- great menu with lots of choice and the food was delicious. What really struck me were the staff -every one of them were really pleasant, helpful and attentive. A gem of a place which I would wholeheartedly recommend.

Went to Horton arms for meal last night.Main meal was Good. Service not so good. 2nd round of drinks ordered when meal came . Didn’t come until meal finished. Deserts didn’t arrive & had to ask 2nd time. When deserts did arrive but no spoons for another 5 minutes whilst hot deserts going cold. On highlighting these issues when paying bill the response was our table was a little out of the way. This being the table they allocated for us. Not good experience.
Great food, and great staff, very welcoming. My mum very picky about her food but she loved it, well done guys great service.
Great home cooked food and not the JWL boring menu. We had a great quiz night on top. We're looking forward to returning.
The Horton Arms is normally a favourite of mine, but this visit wasn't great, sadly. The service was slow, and our food order was wrong when it arrived. Because we'd waited so long AND only had limited time, we were not in a position to complain/ send it back. Hopefully, it was just a one-off.
