Pub and Restaurant: The food and drink is absolutely fantastic, this is a must place to visit if you like high quality food and excellent service. I see some people say it is pricey but given the location, professional service, and the beautiful interior, I find the prices about spot on. What a lovely open fire they have too! 5 out of 5! Accommodation: Unfortunately I can't rave about the rooms. We stayed in room 3 which was freezing cold when we arrived. The bed almost completely fills the room and the bathroom is tiny. The walls and ceiling need some fresh paint and TLC. It didn't ruin our stay at all, we were just fine. However paying £140 a night for that room felt too much. 2.5 out of 5, the other rooms may have been better but I can't comment. Overall a lovely stay and I will happily return again in the future. The staff are highly professional and very welcoming. We'll be back!

Thank you to Lee and all the staff at the Horse and Groom who looked after us when we were stranded due to the snow at the weekend. We had a fantastic stay, amazing food and a very cozy atmosphere. You turned a nightmare situation into a treat!! Truly an exceptional country pub!

Great country Inn with a good choice of local beers, the staff are polite and efficient and the setting is perfect. I cannot comment on the rooms because I was staying down the road.. but I went there frequently.

Awesome service, excellent food, great location, if you enjoy a good ramble this is the ideal place to start from, some delightful villages of the beaten track. You'll really find it hard to beat this place.
