Good service, spacious place, though noisy as it is a little cavernous when busy. The decor inside was unique and good seating with a mixture of sofas, chairs and stools. A place popular with those with children. This pub was the house that the famous furniture maker Chippendale was born in. Good selection of gins too. Decent toilets

Dog friendly even doggie Biscuits and water for them inside
Great food. The oysters are delicious
The stews great large success of crusty bread
Lovely calm atmosphere
Excellent choice of beers, wine and massive gin selections
Fast and friendly service

If your like simple food at a good price (less than £7), you get a filling meal.  Rarely have I not found one or more dishes sold out though. Food and drinks for 2 at around £20.
