Have had lunch here 3 times recently and on every occasion the experience has been excellent.  Great service and great food all within a lovely comfortable environment.  And how nice to dine without the need for piped music that makes it difficult to make conversation!nA really nice relaxed environment, great service, great food and reasonable prices.nOh and 'Proper Pies!'

We popped in here for a Sunday roast and were not disappointed. The pub had a good vibe, it was very clean and tidy, the staff were very polite and attentive, and the food was 10/10. Will definitely be returning.

We recently had a lovely meal at Hillside Inn and came away really impressed.nnAlthough we didn’t catch our waitress’s name, she was absolutely fantastic…so friendly, attentive, and efficient, especially considering how busy it was. She really made us feel looked after throughout.nnThe food arrived quickly with very little waiting time, which was great given how full the place was. Everything felt well organised and ran smoothly.nnThe atmosphere was wonderful…relaxed, welcoming, and incredibly family-friendly. It was lovely to see so many families there with young children, which really speaks to how accommodating and comfortable the environment is.nnA great experience all round—we’d definitely return and happily recommend to others.

Food was lovely. Six different dishes for 6 people and all were very impressed! Colin was the host of our time and he was pleasantly helpful and very polite. Even with dietary needs there was nothing too much for him. Would recommend to anyone. Tremendous

We’ve been to the Hillside Inn several times including a recent spontaneous breakfast and we throughly enjoyed it! The food is great and they have a variety for different dietary requirements - every single plate was polished. We were served by Colin, who is very welcoming and friendly, and made sure everything was perfect.
