They have a new set menu from April 2018, which is alongside their usual dishes. You can have 2 courses and a bottle of wine or two alochic drinks for £23pp. I had the mushrooms to start, followed by rump steak. Our meals were very nice and the service was excellent. You can go for just a drink. This pub welcomes dogs.

Amazing food, even their very own VEGAN friendly menu. Service is a little bit slow when busy but the quality makes up for it. Friendly staff, reasonably priced.

I've come here for over 10 years. Good food is standard. Good service is standard. Little pricey maybe but one of the best pubs/restaurants arround.

Be warned!! I booked a table for 5 through the website, and received both a text an email confirmation.   When we arrived though, I was told they don't actually receive those bookings in the pub and unfortunately there were no tables available.  This seems to be a long standing problem that they are aware of but have never addressed.  The manager was completely disinterested.

Used to be good for food but standards have dropped. It is more of a restaurant than an in with the focus on the food which average but pricey and the last few times have had to wait 30-40 mins
Nice area outside in the summer with plenty is seating areas which can get busy. 
Indoors has a nice old traditional pub feel. Just a shame is not as good as it used to be.
