I loved this facility. It was beautiful, clean and the staff were nice. We were there for a wedding. My only downsides to note that took 2 stars of my review was that the food and beverages were very expensive for the simplicity of the food and beverages. We also had two dinners there. The first dinner was terrible quality and we got worried about the dinner for the actual wedding. But the wedding dinner was pretty good despite the fact that the food was awkwardly laid out. There wasn't a good design to the food layout as a buffet dinner. For example there was nowhere to dress your baked potato and to put butter on your dinner bread roll. They also admitted to not having sauces they should've had according to how we planned the dinner months ahead. As an endnote, congratulations to my cousin and his beautiful new wife, cheers to a happy and healthy marriage.
This 100 year old golf course is the definition of what a classic championship course and facilities should be. Extremely well maintained and beautiful hole layouts. Highly recommended.
We chose Highland as our wedding reception venue, and had an excellent experience. The service staff was very polite, efficient, and were on top of table and bar service throughout the evening. The food was excellent, and they were happy to accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions. The menu had a good range of options to choose from, and we wound up with a good variety of appetizers, dinner options, and late night snacks. Highland offers various options for bar service, including open bar, cash bar, wine service, and others. Guests are able to leave their cars overnight which was a nice plus. The banquet hall is a lovely space for a wedding reception, and the staff set up our decor for us and followed our decor plan and room layout very closely - we were very happy with how everything looked! It was easy to arrange drop-off of decor prior to the reception, and vendors had easy access to the property for day-of setup. Brittany was happy to answer any questions we had and provide any information, measurements, etc that we needed. Thank you to the staff at Highland for being such great hosts - our reception was fantastic!

We had our wedding at the Highland on Friday, September 29th and we couldn't have happier with how everything went. The staff was absolutely amazing, the food was fantastic and they made our wedding day perfect. I am so happy with how everything went and I couldn't have asked for a better venue!!! Thank you so much!
We had our wedding of 125 guests at Highland Country Club in June 2018. Karen the Food and Beverage Manager, Wade and all the staff were extremely professional, friendly and accommodating. They helped make our day relaxing and very memorable. Karen was easy to work with, was quick to answer all our questions and made sure that all our big day was exactly what we wanted. The club is centrally located in London only about 10 minutes from a number of hotels and the 401/402. They also offered free overnight parking at the venue. We had our ceremony on the outside covered patio which seats 120, which is a beautiful spot overlooking the golf course. The food during our cocktail hour was very appetizing and the service was great. We had a plated dinner Prime Rib, Stuffed Chicken and a Quinoa Filled Zucchini that were all delicious and left our guests very satisfied. The dance floor area was a perfect size after moving a few tables after dinner. We really enjoyed having the bar in the same room as the dancefloor as it kept all guests together to socialize and party until 2AM this was a bonus for us as we found that many other venues closed earlier than this. The only issue we had was 5 months prior to our wedding, when Highland tried to increase the cost of food. At this time, they said that because our event was in the following year that new pricing would be applied. The venue was aware of our wedding date when we put down our deposit to reserve our day and they provided us with pricing at that time. During our meetings and emails it was never mentioned that these were subject to change. Highland ended up eventually honouring the original pricing, but it was definitely a frustrating ordeal. Great club to be a member of.,BUT they are missing some key things that bug the heck outta me 1. No drink carts that go around serving members. As a high end client, I like to have service and I feel that they are not up to PAR. Change that please. 2. Holes have no numbers or indications of what the hole looks like... I go to other smaller end clubs and they seem to have it so not sure why a high end club doesn't? Plus even being a member. They way the paths intersect can be confusing as to what hole is next or what hole your on.. That needs a change as well. 3. The drink and food hut closed at like 6pm.. I personally finish work and want to golf a quick 9 but they hut is closed. Just small little things that other "lower end" courses offer and I feel much better when I'm there. But when I come to highland I quickly realize how much those little details matter to have a full enjoyable golfing experience.

We had lunch there several times during our monthly meetings. Well, the service is pretty good, but they are okay to bring you a dirty glass or a plate with hair on it. Regarding food - the cheapest place in the area serves more delicious food than the place. More importantly, they do not accept American Express for some reason.
The absolute best place to hold a wedding!! We had about 100 guests at our wedding on May 25, 2019 and everything was perfect! The staff and servers are so friendly and they do their job so well that you don't even notice when things are done. Dance floor was perfect size.. there's countless options to get amazing photos outside and inside. All my guests were raving about our venue and how gorgeous it was. We could not have picked a better place. And the food ... SO good! Late night Poutine bar was by far the best choice I ever made. Thank you again Karen, Wade & Krysta you guys are so great at what you do and made the whole process stress free
